Charlotte, NC (May 12, 2009) – Kasey Kahne is one of the biggest stars in all of motorsports. The guy has it all - the promising career, the looks, the cool sponsor, and the wins to back it up. Each week he has thousands of fans cheering him on to victory lane. 3 Wide Life chose to feature him on the show for a different reason.
“We wanted to feature Kasey (Kahne) because he is a real racer,” explained producer Parker Williams. “If there is a race on dirt and he can be there, he is not afraid to get a little mud on his tires. He doesn’t just race for a living, he lives to race. It is always good to see a superstar stay true to his roots.”
Kahne owns Kasey Kahne Racing which fields cars in the World of Outlaws series as well as USAC Sprints and Midgets. Schedule permitting, he sometimes acts as a driver owner. Sprint cars are where Kahne made a name for himself, and helping others do the same has become one of his goals.
“When owning a race team is a hobby, life is pretty good,” continued Williams. “With Kasey you would never know. He gets respect from racers at all levels, and he shows respect right back. We were happy he spent some time with us, and we appreciate all his contributions to the sport of racing.”
