Newly formed 3 WIDE NETWORKS will kick off with the prestigious USAC Finale Turkey Night Grand Prix
(Nov 21, 2011 Charlotte, NC) - 3 Wide Life is hoping to change the way the racing community gets their weekly fix of motorsports action. Launching on Thanksgiving day, and broadcasting the legendary Turkey Night Grand Prix at Toyota Speedway in Irwindale CA, 3 Wide Networks will be the one-stop online site for the best live racing events. The site will be a mix of weekly racing, hosted live from the most exciting tracks, and special presentations of the biggest grass roots events in the country. From dirt tracks to asphalt, and midgets to modifieds, nothing will be left out.

"It's a game changer", said 3 Wide Life's Parker Williams. "There is so much racing out there that most of the racing community is not getting exposed to. This will give anyone the chance to watch any race, anywhere. Racers and fans alike have been begging us to put something like this together for them, so we felt the need and demand was there. "
Turkey Night will kick off the new endeavor, with 3 Wide Networks set to go fully live in 2012. For the remainder of the year, 3 Wide Networks has some special broadcast plans, that would not traditionally make it to air. For instance, at the IMIS trade show in Indianapolis, 3 Wide Networks will host a celebrity karting race featuring some of NASCAR and Indy Car's biggest stars, including recently crowned champion Tony Stewart. In years past this event would only be available to those in attendance of the trade show. 3 Wide Networks will change that.
The network has been in it's beta test phase for over a year, and has already signed up some of the most famous race tracks in the country to provide weekly content. The concept is simple, and this is not the first attempt to make this work, but 3 Wide Life feels like they have it figured out.
"It comes down to technology, know how, and understanding what the people want," continued Williams. "We have that. Our team consists of some of the brightest minds in the motorsports world and we understand the racing content arena as well as anyone out there. This was a natural extension of 3 Wide Life TV and we could not be more exciting to take this project on." |
